From the Album iStole, Evett's solo on the glass-necked Galveston Resonator was filmed in a reservoir in Hill City, Idaho. Co-directors Joe Rice and Kevin Hutchison fed Evett nothing but spaghetti for three days, and forced him to drive the 1968 MGB convertible 18 hours a day in order to get the video just right. |

The Red Hot Chili Peppers made a tour stop in Boise, Idaho. John Frusciante's guitar tech asked Old Boise Guitar shop owner Johnny shoes for something new. Shoes pointed him to something in the world of modern guitar- Ned Evett's fretless glass fingerboard modification. Ned was soon put to work on Frusciante's 1959 Fender Stratocaster Hardtail. Due to the age and vintage value of the guitar, Ned chose a neck of a similiar stly and affixed the glass playing surface to it, rather than try to modify the existing fingerboard. |
